MaxDPS Assistant by Basis & Mr.Sergey

Game settings for using MaxDPS
Assistant
- MaxDPS Assistant will work in windowed and fullscreen game mode. Graphics
quality, spell detail sliders and so on do not affect program functioning in any
way.
Setting up MaxDPS Assistant
- on MaxDPS Assistant first run program will ask you to pint to game
installation folder.
First run and
game folder setup should be held while WoW is not running. Otherwise the program
will restart WoW.
- MaxDPS Assistant main window
appears as following:
Set all the buttons in program according to appropriate spell key bindings in
game (both digits and letters could be bound.).
Important!!! Filling up all the fields in MaxDPS Assistant (except
question marks) is mandatory. There should be no empty fields.
What are those additional buttons for? (Question marks)
While MaxDPS Assistant works it monitors for character abilities to get ready
and uses them immediately after that. Some time you need to use an ability which
is not on program list. But it becomes a real problem because Assistant
activates abilities rather faster then you and you always get an active global
cooldown disallowing any action.
We involved Addition buttons to solve this conflict. Pressing one of those will
make the MaxDPS Assistant to give that button the highest priority and activate
it upon next global cooldown time expiration. Then the normal action will be
resumed.
Additional buttons queue is supported, i.e. you can press buttons 1, 3 and 2 in
a row and the MaxDPS Assistant will press them in a same order waiting for GCD
each time.
Important!!! You can bind abilities to F1, F2, … buttons, then you should
enter {f1}, {f2}, … to appropriate program fields.
After clicking “Start” MaxDPS Assistant will save the necessary settings to the
game and will reload WoW interface. Upon that MaxDPS Assistant is in ready mode
– you may start attacking and MaxDPS Assistant will fight by your side. All you
have left to do is moving your character and selecting targets to kill.
Important!!! MaxDPS Assistant uses abilities by keypressing that’s why
you have to pause it to chat. See directions below.
Pause
Press Pause key on your keyboard to suspend MaxDPS Assistant. Press it again to
resume.
Registration
Click “Enter code” button for
registration
Enter the code you’ve bought to proper field and click “Apply”.
Restart MaxDPS Assistant.
Please be informed that MaxDPS Assistant binds to your computer when activated,
i.e. upon activation your code on computer you’ll not be able to use it on
another one, you’ll need one more code to buy. Please store Registration code
and Activation code before Windows re-installing.
Solving possible problems
There are few known reasons for MaxDPS Assistant do not appear to work:
- Top left screen corner is occupied with some AddOn.
- DoIt AddOn is switched off or outdated (check ”Turn on out date AddOns”).
- Not all the spells are properly set in MaxDPS Assistant window (MaxDPS
Assistant for Hunter is an exclusion, also Additional buttons may be left empty).
- Under Win7 64-bit “Desktop Composition” should be set to off.
- In case of SLI video cards Antialiassing should be set to x1, this could be
required even on some single chip video systems.
- Some times but not always problems could be caused by ”Use UI Scale” turned on
or by unitframes like X-Perl, try disabling them.
- MaxDPS Assistant will not work if reloading game interface takes longer then
40 seconds. Try starting it in not crowded places (avoid major cities).
